Plumber

Ever heard of an out-of-work plumber? Neither have we. With a career in plumbing, you can essentially write your own ticket in life. It’s a trade that’s always in demand. It appeals to people who enjoy working with their hands in a variety of working conditions and with little supervision.

This pre-apprentice program gives you a head start in your new career. This course teaches you the fundamentals that form the foundation of everything that follows. To be successful in the plumbing trade, you need good mechanical, mathematical, visualization and communication skills. Good interpersonal skills are also an asset.

Start: Spring/Summer 2010
Length: 1120 hours over 28 weeks (approximately six months)
Work Term: Yes
Qualification: Level I Apprenticeship
